Privacy Policy
Last updated: 7 September 2026
The short version: we collect only what's needed to run your order, we use cookieless analytics, we never sell your data, and your deck stays confidential. The controller of your data is Everywhere LTD, trading as Everydeck (an Elefant service), registered in England (Companies House No. 14779981).
1. What we collect, and why
- Order details — your name, email address, billing address and optional VAT/tax ID, collected by Stripe at checkout, plus your slide count and payment amount. We need these to fulfil your order, send your receipts and keep tax records.
- Your files — the decks and links you upload. They're stored privately per order on Cloudflare R2 and used solely to do the work you've paid for.
- Emails — we send transactional email only (order confirmations, sign-in links, delivery notices) via Resend, from updates.everydeck.co. No marketing lists, no newsletters unless you explicitly ask.
- Analytics — aggregate, cookieless statistics (page views, counter interactions) via Cloudflare Web Analytics and PostHog in memory-only mode. Nothing is stored on your device and no profile is built about you.
We never see or store your card details — payment is handled entirely by Stripe.
2. Legal bases
We process order data to perform our contract with you, keep financial records to meet legal obligations, and run cookieless analytics under legitimate interest in improving the service.
3. Who we share data with
Only the processors that run the service: Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (hosting, database and file storage), Resend (email delivery) and Calendly (if you book a call). Each processes data under its own safeguards, and some operate globally with appropriate transfer mechanisms in place. We never sell your data or share it for advertising.
4. Retention
Order records are kept as long as required for accounting. Your uploaded and delivered files are kept so you can re-download them, and deleted on request — just email us.
5. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, ask for a copy in portable form, and object to processing. Email hello@everydeck.co and we'll act promptly. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
6. Changes
If this policy changes materially we'll note it here with a new date. Continued use of the service after changes indicates acceptance.
